منظمة الغذاء الأمريكية توصي بأن تكون نسبة التوررين 0.1% من طعام القطط حتى يصل تركيزه في البلازما لأكثر من 60 mmol/L

ولكي نصل لهذه النسبة في البلازما القطة تحتاح إلى 19 ملليجرام لكل كيلو جرام من وزنها تورين

بمعنى ان القطة لو وزنها ٤ كجم مثلا فهي تحتاج إلى 76 ملليجرام من التورين يوميا .

The American Food Organization recommends that the percentage of taurine be 0.1% of cat food until its concentration in plasma reaches more than 60 mmol/L.

In order to reach this percentage in the cat’s plasma, a cat needs 19 milligrams of taurine per kilogram of its weight

Meaning that if a cat weighs 4 kg, for example, it needs 76 milligrams of taurine per day
